Los Altos Taqueria opened its doors in January 1997 with a simple mission: to bring the rich, culinary traditions of Jalisco, Mexico to Mountain View. We grew up with these flavors. We didn’t learn them in a culinary school; we learned them in our family kitchen. For over two decades, we have been the “local secret” for residents of Mountain View and the lunch fuel for the innovators at Google and Intuit. While the tech campus skyline around us has changed, our commitment hasn’t. We still peel our own tomatillos, we still marinate our carne asada daily, and we still believe that great food shouldn’t come with hidden fees.
